WIC1 overcurrent and earth fault protection (CT powered)

The WIC1 is a CT supplied overcurrent relay with earth current monitoring. Due to the CT supply, no auxiliary voltage is required. It is suitable for harsh environments and operates in a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. According to Woodward, the WIC1 can operate maintenance-free for a period of 20 years.

We offer the device in the following configurations: WIC12PE and WIC13PE:

WIC12PE:
- No auxiliary voltage required (transformer powered)
- 3-phase independent overcurrent and short-circuit protection with variable trip times
- 3-phase overcurrent protection with selectable dependent characteristics and independent short-circuit current stage
- independent ground overcurrent protection
- Parameterization via DIP switches

WIC13PE:
- No auxiliary voltage required (transformer supplied)
- 3-phase independent overcurrent and short-circuit protection with variable tripping times
- 3-phase overcurrent protection with selectable dependent characteristics and independent short-circuit current stage
- independent earth overcurrent protection
- parameterization via HEX switch
